Climbing Higher 2

Sometimes a little means a lot

Prior to Math Monkey, Kaci, one of our Chimpanzees, was consistently getting scores in the 80s on math tests

After 10 weeks in our "Look Ma, No Hands" class, she now gets scores in the high 90s and many 100s

According to her mother, the small math errors have disappeared and her confidence has grown

Now Kaci can get her math homework from school done during the 10 minute trip home from school

CLIMB HIGHER 1

One of our Math Monkeys has climbed even higher

He was already one of the top math students in his class

After 11 weeks in our Multiplying Monkeys 1 class, his speed at math calculations has increased dramatically

In fact, his teacher commented on his speed to his parents and credited Math Monkey for the improvement

Great Parent-Teacher Conference

The parents of one of my Chimpanzees came in after class.  They had just had their parent-teacher conference.

Their daughter’s teacher was amazed at the progress their daughter had made in math.  The teacher asked them what they were doing and they told her about Math Monkey.  She said she didn’t know why it was working, but keep on doing it.

The teacher pointed out that she has not only improved in math, but her whole attitude in school has improved.  She is more confident and is raising her hand more in class.

The parents were surprised and proud when they received their daughter’s weekly math test.  Their daughter’s test scores had been from 17% to 25%.  She scored an 81% on her last weekly math test

QUICK IMPROVEMENT

"His teacher says that he is already improving in math and he loves the class."

I was totally taken by surprise by the comment from Marcus's mother.

Marcus had only attended the first three weeks of the Chimpanzee class.

As Center Director, I've heard students laughing and enjoying learning math, but I was surprised by how quickly Marcus's math skills at school were improving.
