Who is Math Monkey? About Us


Math Monkey is an academic enrichment program designed for highly motivated learners whose parents understand the importance of math excellence. We’ve created a curriculum that boosts logic, reasoning and critical thinking skills, so Math Monkey kids can reach their full potential.

Inspired by the wisdom of the East and weaved with the creativity of the West, Math Monkey has connected the best of two worlds to create a program that meets the needs of the most driven children. Over 35 years of research and experience in teaching Vedic math have culminated in the passion that is Math Monkey. We are a group of educators, business professionals and, most importantly, parents who are on a mission to help forge the children of today into the leaders of tomorrow.

The secret to academic success is creating an environment that breeds engaged learners. A well cultivated thinker raises relevant questions, gathers and assesses information, uses abstract ideas to interpret, thinks open-mindedly in evaluating thoughts, communicates effectively while figuring out solutions and engages in their own process of learning. Math Monkey promotes these types of behaviors through the interactivity of our classrooms. Children, in turn, belong to a community of like-minded thinkers where success is always encouraged.

With a curriculum that understands kids, math is fun at Math Monkey. By engaging learners through the use of our game-based program, we are able to introduce challenging material to our math monkeys and help them build mental agility and concentration skills. Two personality traits that are important to cultivate are tenacity and perseverance. Math Monkey makes it easy because it’s fun and games.
